  1. Upload contents of compressed file (wp-customer-reviews) to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress admin.
  3. Create a WordPress page to be used specifically for gathering reviews or testimonials.
  4. Go into settings for WP Customer Reviews and configure the plugin.

Плагин отзывов WP Customer Reviews, достаточно прост в установке, не требует особых настроек и выполняет основную свою функцию — создания страницы отзывов.

На любом сайте хочется разместить страничку, на которой клиенты могли бы оставить свой отзыв.

Но, к сожалению, как и множество других хороших плагинов, написан на английском языке и, соответственно, клиентам предлагается английский вариант интерфейса. На момент публикации этой статьи, плагин не подготовлен к переводу на другие языки.

Перевод плагина WP Customer Reviews на русский язык

Речь в данном случае не идет о полном переводе плагина на русский язык. Самым главным является перевод интерфейса для потенциальных пользователей Вашего сайта.

Итак, все по порядку.

  1. Устанавливаем плагин отзывов WP Customer Reviews. Этот плагин есть в библиотеке Wordpess, так что искать его не нужно.
  2. Активируем плагин и создаем на сайте страничку «Отзывы».
  3. На этой странице прописываем шорткод [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=»ALL» NUM=»5» PAGINATE=»1» PERPAGE=»5» SHOWFORM=»1» HIDEREVIEWS=»0» HIDERESPONSE=»0» SNIPPET=»» MORE=»» HIDECUSTOM=»0» ]
  4. На странице «Отзывы» активируем функцию Enable WP Customer Reviewsfor this page
  5.  В настройках плагина PluginSettingsделаем следующие изменения
    1. Вписываем на вкладке About свой почтовый ящик, чтобы получать сообщения о новых отзывах
    2. На вкладке ReviewFormSettings меняем названия полей для заполнения
      • Name — Имя
      •  Email — Email
      • Website  — Web сайт
      • Review Title — Заголовок отзыва

Далее заходим через Диспетчер файлов в панель управления сайтом, ищем файлы и изменяем фразы:
